It is amazing to see the difference between a regular pictures ( all automated ) and the different result you can get once you strat playing with the aperture and the shutter speed.
Here is a picture of my own living room .
Picture 1 is all automated. I did not change the set up on the camera.
Picture 2 is with tripod and and manual set up for aperture and shutter speed.  Exposure 30 secondes.No flash.

I am so exited ! I bought friday my new camera. It is a Canon EOS60D with a lense Canon Ef-S 18/200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS .
Now I can strat some good things. The difference is amazing. My previous camera was a simple point and shoot Canon SX10 IS . I can't wait to play more with it and explore all the possibilities.

This week was really a big week for me  . I did so many things for my project.
I registred my business "ElisaCanada" and I opened a business account. I also printed couple  of my pictures and framed them for my house. And finally , I bought my new camera with a nice purple TenBa camera bag.

I am just missing a tripod and I will be all set for some exciting new adventures.



I am going to New york  next week. Of course I will bring my camera with me ;-)

I am having a lot of fun playing with my new editing software .It is not easy to learn a new tool .

What works for me is to play with it and make a lot of trials.
I click everywhere , do , undo , click here, try that, hum, revert, change this ,  .... untill I start to feel a connexion with the image I am looking at .

Touch of color

I wish I was in Cat Island in the Bahamas today . I would have nothing else to do than driking a nice rhum with lime and sugar ! Is that paradise ?

Veuxhalles sur Aube

A very quiet place to relax and enjoy good wine ! We have som much wonderfull memory from there.

Pink Eiffel tower

Just before living France , my husband and I had diner in Eiffel Tower restaurant ' Le Jules Verne'. What a wonderful memory. It was a farewell gift from all our friends. We really looooved the atmosphere and the fine dining.It is one of the best restaurant we've experienced.

This evening was so romantic .The picture bellow was taken that evening in feb 2008 with a small sony pocket camera. I thought I would play with it and give it a second life. I choose a pink color to paint the love and hapiness of that night.
